How I started doing massages

Elena Novikova

I started doing massages at the beginning only sports aimed at cyclists. I am also the bicycle guide. So studying massages at the beginning was the idea of an extra service for accompanied tourists. Practice made the changes. I became so passionate about massage that I almost gave up doing the tours and competitions. Without the publicity word of mouth led to doing the massages that I am predisposed to do. They are the cervical and decontracting massages.

I was run over while riding my bike. So I know what is whiplash. I did the 34-hour races on the time trial bike leaning down, where I created chronic neck tension. So by doing cervical massages I feel and know what my recipient feels. Lower back pain and many others I have known by doing ultra-long races where I have been a specialist. The experience of pain, trauma, and inflammation helps me to feel while I massage and understand clearly what needs to be done, how, and what is felt during and after the massage.

Sports competitiveness and ambitions give me that toco of perfectionism, for which the goal always is To do the best I can in the time we have. To do the best I can and if I can better than others. If I get compliments I am satisfied as I was by getting on the podium step. And I always try to get on the first one. If I can’t I don’t give up on improving. Thank you for choosing me! I always appreciate it and do my best.
